@Dragana I used National Geographic's Life series with C1 students about 5 years ago and quite liked it. There's also the series Outcomes by the same publisher. Hugh Dellar is the co-author and he's well-known as a proponent of the lexical approach and apparently his coursebooks reflect that. (That being said I haven't used this series myself.)
